Managing Print Jobs
As parts are accepted Funnel collects them into provisional jobs. These provisional jobs are added to the queues of printers available to Funnel. These provisional jobs are shown on the Timeline page as items with a dotted outline. Items with a solid outline show jobs that have been reviewed and approved for printing. Provisional jobs are also listed on the Print Jobs page on the Provisional tab.
Timeline Views
Clicking on the items on the timeline will bring up a details panel.

- panel giving the details of a job
- button to Download the job
- button to download the PDF description of the Job and parts in it.
For candidate jobs, i.e., items with the dotted outline, there will be:
- 2d top down view of the job

Job Promotion
Provisional jobs must be promoted to Print Jobs before they are printed. This can occur in 2 ways automatically or manual. Once promoted the job will appear on the Print Jobs page To Review tab. After a job appears on the To Review tab a User must review and Accept the job for printing; user also has the option of rejecting the job here.
Automatic Promotion
When a printer completes a print it is available for a new one. Funnel will automatically promote the next provisional job, for that printer.
Provisional jobs will not be automatically promoted if the percentage of the build area covered is not great enough.
Manual Promotion
A user has the option of manually promoting a provisional job even if it doesn’t meet the minimum area covered.
On the Provisional tab select the provisional job to promote, which will bring up the details panel as well as the Promote job button, in the Action Bar and the Details panel . Select that button to force the promotion process.

Provisional jobs can also be promoted from the Timeline page. Select the provisional job to be promoted and use the Promote button at the bottom of the details panel. On the Timeline page jobs can only be promoted one at a time.
To promote multiple provisional jobs you need to be on the Print Jobs page, Provisional tab. Select the jobs you wish to promote, the details panel will be blank, and the Promote Jobs button will appear in the Action Bar bar. The selected jobs are promoted as soon as the Promote button is pressed.
